Is that hair on the tail

Yes these are kip tail or calf tail hair. A real killer in some parts like a lot of guys in Louisiana use this kind of jig. I had a guy make the mold for this head so I could tie these jigs. They are about 1/16 Oz.

looks good before you know it you will have more tieing stuff then you can imagine and more jigs then you will need in a few life times. I give them to the neighbors and any kids i see at the boat ramp. and still have plenty.

I'm a living testament to that!! Didn't take long either. Don't know if I should thank Skip and Danny Matthews (and others here) or give 'em a good public cussing! Some of us are easily addicted.
