Don't worry about it, just ask and will try to help, but that site can sure teach you a lot more than I can. However some things come up and there are no stupid questions.
Don't mind a bit. That site is pretty much where I learned most of what I know. I still use it all the time to remind me what to do so I can get it right. Even palmering hackle, I will still go back to read it again.

Tell you what I will send you a few feathers, but need to get in my new marabou first which should be soon. I have 3 shades of Chartreuse, LOL! I just special ordered some and will be more than I will need. Had to get 2 pounds to special order.

Good luck with your tying. I have looked at Academy for tying supplies and the only thing I found was the thread for tying eyes onto rods. Look forward to seeing the pics of your jigs.

Have fun when you get into it!!!!!!!!! If you've read any of the old threads you'll see some of the guys from the time they started until you see what they're tying now and it's COOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Just remember one thing, everyone here was new to tying jigs at one time or another so we all know about the uglies LOL and what we considered really stupid looking ties.

Well everyone said go fish them and see what the fish say!!!!!! It's a great feeling when you catch your first fish on a jig you tied up yourself and I don't know about anyone else but it brings back some really laughable moments in my own tying when I see someone new get into it.

Enjoy tying, fish em and if you need some help just ask and we'll be more than happy to help, we've all been there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
