Deer belly hair
bought some white and some charteruse. ppl here like a 2 tone color skirt, so i was going to mix it with a little hackle or marabou to see how it works... Anyone try it yet? how does it work? Feels real coarse and stiff

Belly hair flairs out a lot. I like it for that reason. I've never mixed it with other materials except silicone skirt. you can use it for a popper style body by tying it on and trimming it. keep working up the hook till you get the whole thing covered. then shape it with scissors. I made some like that for a jig swap.

Look up "spinning deer hair flies" on you tube and you will get the idea. I love making bass bugs and mice for the fly rod this way.

spinning is done with back hair but belly sould work its hollow and will float its great on jigs to slow them down on fall but watch out if to much hair wil float your jig
