    Default first deer hair jigs.

    Here's my first attempt at tying deer hair.

    Nice looking jigs. For a first time tying Deer hair they look really good.

    Deer hair can be a little tricky, but looks like you've mastered the flair!

    Thanks folks. it took a couple of tries to get the stuff to lay down. I didn't know that it would flair out so much when i cinched the thread down on it. Pretty happy with the outcome though.

    Yeah the body hairs are hollow which causes it to flair like that, which also enables us to spin and trim it for bass bugs

    They look good....I got several deer and squirrel tails split with borox on them drying out now...gonna try to tie some jigs.
