    Default Harbor Freight Powder

Has anyone tried the powder paint from Harbor Freight and if so does it work?

I have used it with a air brush...I have not used it to dip jigs in. It looks as good as the powder that I use too dip with.

Don't know about their paint, but I do use another brand sometimes, but I prefer the Pro-Tec as it fluffs better. I only use the other on colors I can't get with the Pro-Tec. I don't know what Pro-Tec puts in theirs, but it makes it better to work with and I mean right out of the jar on in a fluid bed; either one.

What is the cost for 2 oz jar? It would have to be considerably cheaper

I use the 4 colors they sell. Works just as good as Pro-Tec does. As posted above one pound is $4.99 White, Black not gloss, Red and Yellow. Wish they had other colors.

Only the 4 colors .. if you are good at mixing colors (I'm not) you can come up with some good stuff ... I use a lot of a couple of the colors .. make sure that you seal the continer well if you are only using a little at the time. Hard to beat the price .. TJ's has a great selection and I use his a lot in the other colors.

Well don't want any flat black for sure. I buy the pounds of Pro-Tec and don't have the colors they have in pound containers. I don't use enough of them to use a pound except maybe white.

What little experience I have with them is their tools are pretty cheap as well as cheap made. Bought a assortment of screws, nuts and bolts that are really cheap in both ways.

    I will pass I think.
