I use clearcoat mostly for mixing with other colors and sometimes for an overcoat for saltwater jigs. For small and ultra lite jigs use fingernail polish or epoxy for an overcoat.
Mix almost all my paints now – color wheel is a great tool.
Heat gun is the best way to produce a safe consistent heat source.

LedHed I still love that bass colored ultra minnow you made or me several years back.
BTW I paint my jigs similar to the way LedHed does and it is a good proven system if you know how to blend and mix 4 or 5 different colors.
Also LedHed mentioned that I have lots of powder paint. I am trying to consolidate everything and start cleaning my shop. I have roughly 1500 pounds of powder paint in different colors.
Skip please tell me where to post the powder paint as I would like to sell much of it off..................Thanks
