Liked Ledhed's pattern so much I kinda ripped off his general idea. All I can say is imatation is the sincerest form of flattery. 2 roundheads are 1/32 and the minnow is 1/46oz.
silver one - Im gonna call it the surfer
gold one - goldflinger
minnow head - da firecacker after the chennile
Thanks to Ledhed again for idea.
If that's the case...... I am sorry too Mr. LedHed.![]()

Prolly a few others on this site as well!!
I "recycled" some pieces and parts from rr jigs & made me up a couple in all gold intended for some rainbows. :D:D:D Just wanted to see if I could do it too.Looks very similar to the gold one you made hays, but I used some cream hackle for the tail. They all look pretty good!
Thanks LedHed.
I want in on this. Thanks LedHed for them lead heads![]()
"Mister, I love the way you wear that hat."
"You don't know nothin'."
Those are pretty dang neat.Is the swivel just slipped over the hook as you tie them or is it a part of the head like a roadrunner?I might like to copy that idea myself.
Swivel is just slipped over hook then tied in. Couple helpful hints. Tie on swivel first , I position mine right againt head. Then tie feathers or fur , then chenille if you want , now install slit ring and blade. Final step glue thread and let dry
Hays 47 – excellent tyes and you don’t need to apologies for anything. It’s not completely my idea (maybe the hard body thing). The “Belly Spinner” came from the Slider jig and my fishing partner wanting something like it.
AF – post up pics
OKSJ – no worries
stevew – swivel is slid over the hook
Thnx all

"WELL"...YOU ASKED"NOBODY TELLS ME NOTH'N!!!
Here's my knock-off Led...
Did you get the idea from the coyote spinner fly pattern? I have seen then, but never have tied one. I have a hard enough time trying to cast a normal fly, I don't need all the extra hardware to screw me up more! lol Looks real good in the water on a jig head for sure. Only had in it the water on one trip out, and was scoreless on her maiden voyage, but so was I for the 2hrs, so that doesn't mean much!!:D
They are good looking jigs. But how do they work on catching crappie . Have any of you fish with this type of jig.
