More Tungsten Bead Head Fly as jig?

Ok I have still been working on making a Tungsten head that the cost is closer to a regular head (still a little higher cost as the other ones). Here is (same weight as a 1/32 oz jig head) Fly hook with a Tungsten bead. They don't get much bigger though, but anyone liking 1/32 or 1/64 I may have the answer. I bought a digital scale to be able to check this stuff out.

I don't see why this wouldn't be very good style to long line troll.

Skip, The Grizzly Jig Company has been making these fly-jigs for many years , but with lead.
Your idea of tungston is new to me though. It might taste better to the crappie. lol Illinoisgiller

I have used them for bluegills alot.I dont see why they wouldnt work for crappie.They sure make a nice looking fly.

Thanks and since it weighs as much as what I mostly use in the spring (1/32 oz) they should do pretty good I think. Need more head colors now is all.

I like it, could also see using it up the line a foot or so for a double rig.

If just dragging it by itself on a main line, think I would maybe put it on a down turned eye hook just to keep the possible spinning minimized and hook point up. Would have to see it in the water tho. What size hook is that on?

It is a Bead Head curved hook size #6 so the eye will point down just a tad since it's curved.

Looks good Skip. Of course the colors work well together. I'm just now calming down some and working the 1/32 isn't as frustrating as it once was.
