Tied these last evening. I've seen so many good-looking jigs being tied lately, that I thought I'd post a couple of dull ones.
I think that the one to the left might be worth trying on dark, cloudy days. The one to the right might be a little bit too "rusty" (as in...rusty crayfish). Maybe, a brown bass getter?
Both do have a bit of flash in the back end and each weighs 1/16 of an ounce. Hook size is #4.
Jig Tyer.
Those two jigs are far from being dull Pup. The orange rust colored jig would tear the small mouth bass up and would also produce a steelhead. The St. Joesph River is one street from the back of my house and right now the Salmon run is going on. There is at least 4-boats setting above the dam everyday with a number of guys fishing the banks.I don't fish the river and do not even have a Indiana fishing license. Do all my fishing in Michigan!
I agree with Len, the "rust" colored one would tear up smallies and
the black one will catch anything that swims in the lake!!
Fine lookin jigs Pup!!!!

"Mister, I love the way you wear that hat."
"You don't know nothin'."
Your jigs are far from the average jig they are definitely good looking in every respect especially the orange one I agree 100% that it would be a smallmouth killer your eyes on the gray jig to the 3-D are you using them on the eyes if they are painted on their it's one hell of a job keep up the good work
looks good you can send some to me
The fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad
Good job. Look'n good.
Good colors, the flash is a good addition.
Wake me up early,
Be good to my dogs,
and teach my children to pray.
