skeetbum! Great job for your first. Like AW said, you can seal it with hard as nails, re-attach your thread, make a few wraps, a few half hitches, and some more sealant, and you're GTG. I get excited and break my thread too...

I'm gonna say this for you and any new tier, JUST DO YOUR BEST!!!!! We were all new tyers at one time and we know the thoughts you're having!!! Once I get my crap unpacked from my move I'll post some pics of some of my first jigs and you can laugh right back buddy.

I like the jig you tied and it will catch fish. As everyone always says Practice Practice and more Practice that's how you make em really nice looking but as long as they catch fish WHO CARES!!!

I just like having the ability to tie whatever colors I want and if someone is catching on a hot color I can always tie some up right next to my car if I bring the kit.

Just keep having a good time and if you need help we're here for ya.
