    Default hey you micro-jiggers

here's a jig you should give a try when the skeeters come back next year (or any time really). I got the idea from the classic mosquito dry fly pattern: Fly Tying Pattern Archives - Dry_Emerger - Mosquito - Fly Fishing Connection

I left out the tail, used black thread and a single coarse bucktail fiber for the rib, and a partridge feather for the hackle. Tied on a 1/64 oz jig head. I think you fellas that tie < 1/64 jigs should see what you can do with this. The Drowned Mosquitos (and a minnow):

"Mister, I love the way you wear that hat."
    "You don't know nothin'."

Good looking OK, those things look like they could bite. They should be a killer on the gills come spring.

Those are nifty. Like the contrast on the mosquito pattern.
