    Default Simple Pink Jigs

Here are three jigs that I tied last evening. Simple jigs in reddish-pink colors. Might work for trout and walleye in a pinch.

    Materials:
    • One-sixteenth ounce darter head jig with #4 gold hook.
    • UTC Ultra Thread (white) - 140 denier.
    • Caron Glimmer chenille (carnation).
    • Lion Suede chenille (rose).
    • Pink marabou feathers.
    • Reddish-pink nail polish.
    • Craft acrylic paint (black, white).
    • Clear nail polish.
    • Devcon 2T epoxy for topcoat.
    • Pink craft fur.
    • Mylar tinsel (silver holographic).
    Jig Tyer.

Top two jigs, IMHO, has a bit too much chenille. Would interfere on hooksets. I personally would not use as much. More contract in colors, again IMHO, is more effective in giving crappies underwater color visability choices.

I like the bottom right jig, has a little white and some sparkle.

    Thanks for the comments Guys.

    FF,

I like that jig a lot. Dyed mallard flank is a great feather for tying an effective Float-N-Fly jig for smallmouth bass.

Your craft fur jigs always look very nice. May have to give that a try sometime. Nice clean ties!!

Nicely tied!!!!!!!! I agree a little heavy on the chenille, but all should catch fish.
