Default Just bought my first pair of Anvil Scissors

I have been using some small scissors I got from the set of Henckles scissors the wife and I bought some time back and the little ones sure were good.

I also have been using some of the Dr. Slick look likes made in the same country Dr. Slicks are made and they are good too.

However they really are not in the same quality as the Anvil Accu-Tip point scissors.

Just thought I would mention it in case anyone in the near future need any good scissors. I know they are not cheap, but the are some fine cutting scissors.

Anvil' Straight Fine Point. The package says 60-A Long Reach. They are also micro-serrated.

I have the curved point, and they are very good.

Note to new tyers: you can get by with a cheap vise, but don't skimp on the scissors.

Most of the ones I use are 4"-4 1/2" long in total. I keep some larger ones handy I use for deer hair though and they are heavy and about 6 1/2" or so. I don't like using my small good ones for deer hair. I even use different ones for the thread and the chenille most of the time.
