Default "Glow In The Dark" Thread

Was snooping around in Walmart today in the fabrics section looking at thread, and noticed they had "glow in the dark" thread in 4 different colors. Anybody used any of this for tying jigs, and does it "glow in the dark"?

Along the same subject...........Anybody use "all purpose" polyester sewing thread much for tying jigs? All kinda numbers on the spool, but I'm not familiar with the sizes. Just picked up some neon green and yellow on the small spool.........smallest looking thread.

I don't know what the thread is I got from Walmart sewing dept., but I really don't much care for it at all. I much prefer waxed tying thread. Love Flat Waxed as it's the best. Even though it was not a lot of money I wish I had never bought it.

I stick with a good flat waxed thread from Barlow's for my customers. They have some very nice colors.

I use the polyester thread in all my jig tying. I don't use bobbins and never had any trouble with it.

The wallyworld "glow in the dark" thread is great for wrapping rod tips for night fishing, ecspecially if you use a black light for night fishing

From my experiences, sewing thread works you just have to be real careful with it as it breaks easily. That is from my experiences with it. I personally stick to uni thread and flat waxed.
