Get some clear lacquer paint and thin it down. You won't need head cement for years. Keep a bottle of acetone and a roll of paper towels next to it and every time you open it wipe off the cap with the acetone so it doesn't seal itself closed.

Just get you a bottle or 2, of Sally Hansen, Hard as Nail, nail hardner. Is like a 1.89, at Wal-Mart. And take the brush out of the cap, and use a bodkin or tooth pic to apply to thread. GOOD STUFF.
