I use the drill bits for either vinyl or outdoor high Gloss acrylic paint. On Roadrunner heads I mostly use the vinyl and most other heads I use the acrylic and clear coat over that. There is a few colors like FL Yellow I will not put Sally Henson's over and then I use clear vinyl. The nail polish changes the color of the FL Yellow and have to watch Chart too.

I think some use testers paint for eyes or may it is their jig heads, don't know since I have not used it before.

If it's a light color jig head just use a black magic marker

I use Krylon's shortcut I think they're called. It's acrylic paint in a small
bottle, about 1 ounce. Also the drill bits.
