Fish Hair

Have any of you guys used the fish hair from Do It Jig Molds before?I just ordered some,instead of bucktail,to try it out.Anything good,I hope?

I like the Fishair but I'm new to this. It's easy to use and looks great, not much action in water but works if used sparingly. It makes a good start and you can surround with something else.

We used in the past it works very well on all jigs. It has a very natural look in the water.

I use it for extra flash or tp compliment a color.
It doesn't have much action in the water, but is easy to use and tie.
And it's cheap.

here's a couple of big saltwater jigs that I tied for my brother in law in New Jersey for the Atlantic.Fishair looks good,but we will see how it works in a couple of weeks.Hopefully we will have some good proof pictures,as I call them,lol.

Fishair really excells in salt water as a replacement for Bucktail .. They have (as Others) straight Nylon which makes great pompano, spainish and etc. jigs. I have sold many straight Nylon tail in the 1/16 & 1/8 oz size in freshwater mainly for "Below the Dams" specials ... Tom Mann made one that was real popular (before he got into plastics he made only jigs) ..
