Default Announcing a Smallie jig swap

Please ignore the earlier post. There were several swaps going on then, so I backed off on this one.

This is the new Smallie Jig swap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Criteria: free for all except for jig size
    !/8 oz jig or smaller
    any material
you must have caught a smallie on the jig you enter!
Sign ups March 8 through March 16
Jigs due April 12, 2010 if small amount of tiers, may be earlier.
If less than ten tiers, we will tie two jigs each.

Everyone is welcome!! Boys, girls, men, women, oldsters, youngsters even
your pets(if they can tie jigs!) Beginners welcome. If every one ties an extra jig we will have an auction on this site with the proceeds going to
St. Judes Children Hospital. A very worthwhile cause and they need the help!

We've had a lot of fun tieing for Diabetes, Special Olympics, Breast Cancer
so, lets make this one a blast and help kids at St. Judes!!!!!

How's that work that beginners can participate but you have to have caught a smallie on the pattern?

By beginners I meant jig tiers. If you have not caught a smallie on a jig you've tied, but have caught one on another jig, then try to duplicate the
jig you caught it on. Don't want to get to technical with it, just have fun with it. My thinking was "electric chicken" is not normally used for smallies,
where, shad, craw, leech patterns are. So, think like a smallie and tie something up!!! We'd love to have ya in the swap!!!

Gotcha, I guess count me in as a sho nuff beginner. Never caught a smallie on anything other than a craw pattern, so I'll take a stab at that.

So I am clear, that is 2 different jigs x # of participants plus one each for auction?

It depends how many tiers we wind up with.
if fifteen tiers, you tie 14 jigs plus one for the auction.
if only nine tiers, you would tie 16 jigs plus two for the auction
