Default 3-Way Swap

Anyone have any interest in having a 3-way..... jig swap that is.

I have been in a few swaps, but don't fish with the patterns I like the most. They stay at home and I "try" to reproduce them. My copy-cats never look quite the same , so would like to have some originals to fish with. With my idea, you would get 3 jigs of a pattern so you could take 2 on the water and one stay home.

Here is my thought... in a norm swap, I pay for 2 shipped packages, mine going out and all of them coming back. With 3 people, it would still be 2 packages. Swapper A sends his jigs to Swapper B and Swapper C. Swapper B sends to A & C. Swapper C sends to A & B. Does that make sense?

For the jigs... Jigs you would have to tie is 24 total and get back 24. So you would be tying 4 different patterns, with 6 jigs for each pattern. Of those 6, 3 would go to one swapper & 3 to the other. Repeat that in 3 other patterns. You would be sending out 12 jigs total in 4 different patterns to each swapper.

I'm not big on rules, so there really wouldn't be any. I do have a request tho... Could one of the people involved tie just one of their patterns a set of micro kip jigs, I suck at them!!!!. But if not oh well!! The other swappers can make a request as well and see if one of the others can fill it. I'm thinking a turn around of a month or two or three, don't really matter.

If this makes any sense at all and any of you want to get in... WooHoo!!! I'm open to any other suggestions. If no one is interested, just let this thread die.

Default Count me in

Count me in as well!
The ones I suck at are the little bugs with legs!
I agree with Jigginjoe, I'm reading this early AM with only a 1/2 cup of
java in my veins I'd have to read the rules a few more times to clearly
understand them!!

All-right... Sounds good!! Any request from either of ya that maybe one of us could fill? Color, size, style.... anything?

Joe... I hope to use them thru the ice, I would guess ball heads, but not sure on color. You have any suggestions on what works good for you or do you just use the same colors that work good on open water?

We'll have to just PM our address to each other and should be good to go!

I vote for brim reaper to get in also.

Default Brim & OKstate

If you guys get one more ya can have your own 3-way.
Wow, what a response!
If I understand this right, I make 6 jigs in 4 patterns, then send Jigginjoe
12 and you Atticafish 12. I've had another couple cups of java and things
are clearer now. I think

I like smallie jigs in 1/8 oz. also crappie jigs in 1/16oz.

I know smallie jigs are right up Attica' alley!!

Myself, I'm not real good at 1/32 and smaller.....big paws!
