    Default Received jigs

Got your jigs Attica! Nice jigs. Of course the orange smallie jig jumped
right off the sponge and said let's go get some smallies! All of the jigs are really nice. Ya kinda went overboard from the 6 jig, 4 patterns but don't think I don't appreciate it!!! I gotta learn or force myself to back off on the amount of material in my tails. But, they catch fish so whatcha gonna do?
Also gotta come up with a better package to send jigs. I'm learning tho
and with help from you and others on CDC I'm gettin better and better.
Great 3 way, I like the concept!!
The froggy jig has caught many LM and a few smallies. the orange flashabou
slayed smallies this year. The pink/white/black feather jig enticed some big crappie.

I did the same thing Joe! I had one mission.....to mail jigs! Loaded Augie
Doggy in the truck, drove 12 miles to the P.O. and realized it was vet's day.
Not too bright as before I went I put the flag out for Vet's Day. Duh!
Augie enjoyed the trip barking at deer and turkeys along the way. Maybe the dog is smarter than the owner? So mine went out Thursday as well.

CK3 - Don't worry about the extras... kept me busy for a few nights. I do like the frogger one, first thought was for some lrg. mouth, wife liked it as well. Your tails look good to me. Don't know if you have ever tried those zonker strips before, but they are something else in the water. Tried your orange flash jig out today in the river, but think I missed my window of opp. for this season. Water is muddied up and cold, fished for an hour and only got one swing and a miss. Oh well... I'll be back.

Haha, I pulled the same mail thing last swap I was in. Hurried my butt to get to the PO before it closed for the day to find out it was presidents day or something, can't remember which one. Glad it's not just me.

    Default They work!

Can't believe my orange flash let you down! I've caught fish in my front yard
with that guy!!! Not really. I know your purple jobber works! Went out for
about two hours yesterday and caught two walleye and one sauger on it!
Water was very cold and so was I! They grabbed it prettty good! No trailer needed on that one.
I've never tried zonker strips, any tips?

I know it will work. I had one bite on it, but once the water cools down in the fall, the majority of fish head down stream to deeper water near a dam that is out of driving reach for my lunch break fishing.

Glad they caught you some, let me know how they hold up, with those being my first attempt at the craft hair, just not sure. May wanna hit the thread with some xtra nail polish.

The rabbit strips are actually easy to work with and tie in. The grizzly stuff is alot more expensive tho. Worst part is cutting the strips without cutting the hair funny. I like to put the skin side down. They have excellent action in the water and stand up a little when you settle your jig on the bottom!!!! I have several colors now. :D

    Default Received the jigs Joe!

Great lookin little guys! I am now convinced, before I just suspected,
that instead of fingers you have thin tweezers!!!!!! If they ever come up with
finger transplants, I' gonna get some:D
That was the first three way I participated in and I feel bad I didn't send
any extra goodies like you guys did You can bet next time I'll shower you guys with goodies!!!
I can't wait to try those little guys ice fishing. I haven't ice fished for about four years due to health issues, but this year I'm gonna try on the warmer days.
    Great jigs Joe, nicely tied!

JJ - Got my box of micros today. All look very very nice! Crappie seem to have switched up to smaller baits now so I think they should do good till ice up and on the ice as well.

Some interesting looking plastics as well.

Looks like we have it wrapped up guys!
