Joe... I hope to use them thru the ice, I would guess ball heads, but not sure on color. You have any suggestions on what works good for you or do you just use the same colors that work good on open water?

We'll have to just PM our address to each other and should be good to go!
alot of colors i use in summer work great threw the ice. i will hook you up with some of my favs. this should be fun. now i need to make 6 different styles of jigs? that might be tough i do about 3-4 styles lol but i can do 2 colors of each style if that works? i will do some micros and the rest you will have to wait and see

Hey Jiggin Joe - I think CK3 said it better than me. I was thinking 4 different patterns was all ya gotta do. Make up 6 jigs for each of those 4 styles... I got it all in my head but can't get it to come out how simple it sounds in my own brain! lololol But to tell you the truth, I'm not one for rules. What ever style you make, I just want 2 or 3 of them.... I mostly use 4lb line, I use 2lb on one of my lakes that is gin clear so I loose quite a few down in the rocks. From what I've read on here, your the micro master, so you picking the colors sounds perfect. Do you have any request for something we can make up for you... maybe just you best color??

CK3 - I can make up a set of 1/8oz smallie jigs no problem. JJ, you ever fish for bass or do you chase mostly gills and crappie?

Either of you fly fish? I might send along some bonus stuf......

I use mostly 4 lb on crappie and 10/2 power pro braid on smallies.
I haven't fly fished for years.
Attica, I'm gonna make ya my smallie smasher! It's kinda simple, but wife and I caught over 75 smallies in 6 days this year with it. All C&R. I've got a six hanging on the wall out of our lake but I want a 7 lber

HaHa!! Simple is usually best CK3! Now if I could only get that thru my thick skull.......

A 6lb'er..... man that is HUGE! That should have been able to jump about 6 foot out of the water! I've been out wading the river and have them jump a good deal higher than eye level.

Silver/Black/Chart/Blue have been my best colors this season, pure white with pearl midge flash was the hands down winner last year! I use any size from 1/64 to 1/8.

Yeah... tying in a norm swap gets pretty repetive to make 20-25 of the same thing. When I tie for myself, I usually do 2 or 3 of whatever I make and then move on.

I also found a lake near by they stock rainbows in so maybe will be able to get into some of them with those mico too.
