I figured out what im gonna do and started them last nightgot them all painted and even came up with a name to. I wont say what they look like ill keep it a surprise but a clue is the day they are due and the name (should patent it LOL) is GILL O TINE :

Joe,that is a great name for a panfish jig!!! I like it!!!

I tied up 25 of them today figuring that would be the cut off. Going to tag and bag them in a few and should be ready to go whenever we have a final count and an address to ship them to. Mine are named "Grown in Washington".

I got my 20 jigs done today in ready to be shipped out

Wow Jiggin Joe and Len you guys are naming your jigs now. Ok I think I will call mine the "WYOMING REDNECK SPECIAL" LOL I have 20 of my secret jigs all tied up and some extra material if the jig swap gets bigger before the cut off deadline.

THANKS A LOT JOE Just what I don't need! I haven't got the leaves
raked up yet. Oh, well after living here for over 20 years I know it's coming.
I really do like the change in seasons though. Kinda cool sittin in the basement tieing jigs with the wind howling and snow blowing outside and I'm
warm and toasty doing what I love to do!!!!!

Cool name Joe!! Sounds like we got some orange and black jigs coming our
way! By the way, Halloween is my birthday, so I'm all about orange and black!

You guys are coming up with some great names for your jigs. My will be
called "Gold bugs". I think one of the fun parts of jig swaps are the names
we come up with for the jigs!!! The one that left me laughing for days was
named by Gaspin in jig swap #10. He named it "El Wapo" from the movie

Well boys and girls I said I'd announce the incentive on Monday. I'm a day late ("and a dollar short") but here it is: after all the jigs are in I'll put the names of all the tiers in a hat and have my wife draw one name. That person will win a custom made fishing rod of their choice (some restrictions),
with choice of handle, colors, length, guides, action, signature and etc:D
It will be one of a kind and worth $150 retail:D:D:D:D
I'll contact the winner by phone to get the details and then you need to give me 4-6 weeks to build it. When done I'll ship it to you and hope you enjoy
it as much as I did building it. I made one for Flatfish46 and he was thrilled
with it.

WOW CR3 thats a great prize and is very cool thing to do for one of us lucky jig swappers to get. I think it should go to the one with the most snow on the ground as (I) :D will be ice fishing before all the rest of the jig tiers I bet lol. Well one can only hope. Either way its going to be great. Well headed out to get more tying supplies. thanks perch
