On Sunday 5-17 we ended our fishing trip at Lake Belva Deer. We fished for three hours and managed (33) crappies and (4) gills. The crappies were no monsters, but the gills were HUGE!!!! It was my first time on the lake and I was impressed on how it has been built for fishing. I would like to head back soon to navigate it some more and catch some of those big gills when they start spawning.
