Thread: Fishing locations in Iowa

Hey guys.

I'm new to the forum and live in the Urbandale area. I know there are a few lakes and rivers near by. I'm looking for any good fishing that is available. Whether it be Crappie (which I'm just getting into), bass (any kind), walleye, northern..well, pretty much anything!

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

I'm kind of getting back in to fishing too, after being away from it for 20 yrs. Just got back from Truman lake in Missouri. Had some great fishing. Got our limit of crappie 2 out of 3 days, the smallest being 10 inches. I'm thinking about trying Don Williams tomorrow. I hear the crappie are starting to bite there
