Thread: The Quest for 1000 Crappie this season...

I am going to try to keep the Iowa Board moving a little since it is 1 of the lowest State Posts on this site. I am going to attempt to catach 1000 crappie this season and post them here. In recent posts you will see my numbers now up to 115 after this post for the year already. I will move from Pond to Pond to lake to Lake. This doesnt mean I personally caught 1000 but My boat will bring in 1000. Wether I am with a Good Friend, Son, Brother or Dad, It will always be in 2's. (My boat is a 10' Bass Buggy for these Ponds)
Keep in mind. I have a full time Job (Decal Producer) Husband and Father of 4 boys. Coach High school Football. Coach my kids JR's Baseball team, Coach my 4 year olds Soccer team.. So I have to find time in between all of this...
But it is accomplishable!!!
Here is another 20 from 3/25.... Bobbers and Minnows in 8ft of water 4ft down in 48 degree weather. Winds were horrible gusts of 30mph. Surface temp was 50.. Rough day.

Still trying to decide to wait for my brother to pick up some Cheap 14' Jon boats (he sells and repairs boats and motors) or just buy one from someone else. I need to get one soon.
Keep this Iowa board going by all means.

Know what you mean Been Dead. Tried Storm Lake last Thursday and not a single one. Too darn much temp changes.

Added another 18 to the list.
A Green carp was added in the basket for whatever reason. Also ran into a snag, LITERALLY.. A Musgrat got snagged on my line.. Hit the foot.. Felt pretty bad as the line snapped before I could get the varmit in the boat. see the video (Caution Explicit language as we were beating them pretty good and the last thing my Brother needed was to be snagged on a River Rat)
