    Default Ice is Ready!

    Hammering the Bluegill and some bass my first day out on a local pond.
    4-5 inchs of ice. Good to be back to work!!!!!!!!

    Way to go.
    I've been on the ice over this way quite a bit in the last 2 weeks.I've been doing pretty good on the crappies and gills.I haven't taken any pictures of the crappies for 13" has been the largest.i have been getting pic.s of gills that i caught and released in some ponds.10-12" gills that is.Here's a pictured of a lipped gill.

    :D Give a man a crappie you feed him for a day...teach a man to fish for crappie and get rid of him for the weekend!!!

    Default NC bowhunter/crappiefisherman

    do any of u do much deer hunting. i have been to Iowa 2 times 2002 2004 got lucky on 2 really nice bucks. i fell in love with that state. not been able 2 get back.the drawl is hard 4 out of state hunters. i love 2 bow hunt and hope 2 get back out. i hunted near Castina. any responce like 2 hear from yall.

    No,just clear ice with some water on it from a drilled hole right there.
