Thread: Any interest in rathbun club tournaments

Not trying to promote another site, but you might want to ask this at Iowa Sportsman - Hunting and Fishing site. In return, it could end up drawing more to this board.

I'd be in and know a few other guys that would join. May get a few more guys if you're willing to spread out the tournaments a bit between Rathbun, Red Rock, maybe a couple others even. Either way, great idea!

Sure why not. I think if everybody could settle on 3-4 lakes maybe? Would probly recruit a few more people and keep the club going that way. I know several guys that would participate on a regular basis. I'm Not aware of any crappie tournaments anywhere in central or southern Iowa but would sure like to get a few goin if folks are interested

Would be interested especially if you could get one in eastern iowa possible coralville/McBride or the Mississippi river. Hard to make it everywhere though.

There is a group RSRVT fishin freaks on facebook that is holding a crappie tournament and some other species in the burlington iowa area might be able to pair up with them for more members .

So let's get this going. What do we need to do?

I have a interest but am a rookie, have boat will travel, would prefer a veteran teach me...

Seems like we've got enough interest to make it worth doing. Im sure it will continue to grow once the details get hammered out. What needs to be done to get the ball rolling?
