Default Fall Turn-over

I see in the current DNR fishing report that Lake Darling has turned-over. I was out there on Tues and couldn't bribe fish to bite. I did notice a bunch of crap floating in the water -- vegetation etc. I know the turn-over period is supposed to be a bad time to fish (and my experience at Darling bears this out).

A couple questions:

1) Does anybody know of any other lakes that have turned over recently?

2) Anybody have any idea how long before the fishing picks up again after turn over?
