Cool. I have lived plenty of places in Iowa. Washington, Mediapolis, Burlington, Oskaloosa, and Iowa City. Used to fish the skunks in Oskaloosa, and the Res in Coralville. Might make a Spring trip up to fish the spawn at Rathbun.

I live in Oskaloosa, fish the skunks, and the Des Moines rivers, along with Rathbun, Red Rock and many other smaller state owned lakes.

How is Red Rock? We still have family in Osky, so I thought I might take the boat for one visit this year.

Very hit or miss at this time. I have not been there since spring. It has been gradually picking up again with the fish holding around 18 ft of water. This is bait shop info. WhiteBreast area.
