Was on the Res' about 10:00a.m. and found surface temps to be around 79-80 which kind of surprised me how warm it was. I found small crappie right away on brush in 10' of water and caught about 15 from 6-10" on tubes/minnows. Tried a few other spots which produced same results. Later in the afternoon went to another spot which I pulled about 30 off of and did get three which were between 12" - 13". It was a beautiful day to be on the water. Already quite a few pleasure boaters and "mosquitos" out, too.

Yes, I need to get down to Rathbun soon. Have heard same reports from buddies up here. Do you have any plans to get back here this summer?

Nothing in the works as of yet. I'm having some boat trailer issues. I got off the phone with the dealer this morning, waiting on a call. I can feel the blood pressure rising hehe...izzy
