Thread: Monroe tues may 19th

Went this morning to troll for some wipers and walleyes. The fishing was fair for them but caught 6 crappie 13-17 inches on a deep diving rapala right off the channel over 35 feet of water . They were suspended about 18 feet down. Had to get back to pick up my daughter from kindergarden at 11.30 Killed me to leave those fish but had to be a dad. Wife had son at doctor visit at Reily.

Throwing us a curve ball...with your heading....may 19th. I am assuming you mean June 2nd unless this post got recycled?? Trolling with big motor I assume. Using downriggers ? I can get my cranks down to 10-12 w/o downriggers but that is about it.

Sorry June 2 lookin at wrong date. I was in my jon boat with a 15 hp johnson and trolling 2.2-3.5 mph using rapala 18+ deep divers about 6 inches long
