Default Last Night's Dinner - the end game

I am starting to wonder if I am in the wrong forum. Below is last night's dinner .... grilled catfish. (Go to monroe guide service thread to see the donor catfish for this meal .) Marinaded the filets in olive oil, fresh chopped oregano from the garden, some garlic, and kosher salt. Cooked on a charcoal grill for 5 minutes a side. Accompanied by fresh asparagus from the garden, fresh salsa, couscous, and a glass of rose`. I admit ...being a guy... I sometimes like my deep fried fish.... but this fish would change your mind in a hurry. Oh, and desert.... sampling strawberry jam from berries picked yesterday in the garden.

Japayton6.... was there a couple wks ago. Watched a couple fly rodders work the shoreline... one from a kyak and the other from a pontoon style belly boat. They were quite efficient at it. You may not catch a large number, but I will assure you that the bluegill you catch there will go 10 inches. I had 2 of my 12 foot rods out while casting a 3rd to shoreline... and was moving across middle of lake when both 12 footers went down at once. Pulled in 2 big colorful male bluegill...10 inches. Don't be afraid to test the 20 ft water where the 2 valleys split off.

I was thinking it was a glass of Rose'. Personally with most fish meals I like a nice crisp Sauvignon Blanc.
