Thread: Anybody been to raccoon

Has anyone fished raccoon since the water is 13 or14 ft high did you do any good???????????

Sorry, haven't been for three weeks now. Won't be there anytime soon as the Brother in Law bought a cottage on a private lake in MI today. We are hearing that 14" crappie are the norm in that lake. I'm headed up there to find out on Friday!

As I have said before, I'm at the coon almost every weekend. This past Sat. & Sun. I fished, the two weekends before I did not. We just hung out on the water. I tryed my regular spots this past weekend with just a little sucess. I kept 3 on Sat. and 4 on Sun. Caught a 15" -16" white bass trolling through the bridge. I used an old bomber crank bait with no hooks tied to a black and chartruse rooster tail. That was fun.

As of today the water is goin' down. And headed into a full moon weekend I'm hoping for the best. The Army Corp website shows more water goin' out than the last few days so hopefully we will see a drop of 1 foot per day.
