Nice catch. I caught my limit the other day out there, all from ONE tree. A couple bass fisherman moving by said "a little late for crappie isn't it?". I just smiled!

You sure can catch those crappies! Your outfit is ideal for that lake. I have always said that eagle creek is a sleeper lake as it doesn't get that much pressure for its size and location. I landed a 20 lb + catfish on your lake this am pitching a 1/16 oz jig under docks for crappie but only managed 3 or 4 total and a lot of white bass.

Nice catch. Wish I could find some crappie like that. How deep were they?

Sitting out over some brush in 12'-15' of water. School was riding high in some spots intercepting jigs at the 8'-10' level on the drop many times. Lots of fish going shallower to spawn right now also around here.

I like to fish the drop off the flat by the sailboat bouy. The drop is so steep, sometimes jig gets stuck on edge of it.

Caught a 4lb striper out there yesterday on a tiny jig. Also caught something huge, twice. Snapped the 4lb test instantly both times, second time the bobber went out of sight faster than I've ever seen.. I also broke a pole for the first time ever yesterday, with a tree fish lol! Going back to my hole today with a couple cat fishing poles to see if I can't find the monster. I've never seen so many eating size crappie jumping out of the water before.
