Thread: Waveland 5/17

Fished Waveland for the first time today. Arrived about 7:30 A.M. and about 20 other boats were already there. I have never seen so many boats on a small lake ever. I finally decided to leave about 12:00 and I would estimate at least 60-70 boats. Is it always this way for those of you who fish it? It was way to crowded for me.Caught one nice bluegill the whole time.

Well since Raccoon and Leiber are so high right know everyone is at Rockville or Waveland right now. I went tonight and there was still alot of boats out, but I did manage to keep 11 nice gills out of the 18 or 20 that were caught along with several small bass.
Marked fish all over just was not many takers
