Just got back from Monroe. The crappie were really biting. Took my nephew. We caught about a hundred crappie. Most were small. Brought home about 30 keepers. I caught a nice slab, 2 nice channel cats and some nice blue gills. He caught about a 6 pound blue cat on a grub, tons of crappie, and several nice bluegills. Most of the fish we caught were full of eggs. They would squirt out when you touched them.

We were catching them 3-6 feet deep in 8-15 fow. We caught them on minnows and curly tail grubs. We fished the first big cove to the left of Paynestown. I will post pictures tomorrow.
