Thread: Small fish?

Anyone notice reports of many small fish this year before getting bigguns? Last year was much better for quality fish. Thoughts?

On Lake Shafer the dinks were all over. Now At last the big ones are hitting.

Been to Freeman the past 2 weeks and fishing is terrible or I am. Have tried fish all over the lake and all we have caught are 7 inch fish. Don't think I'll be fishing that lake for anything other than wipers and catfish from now on. Fished the lake last week and went up the river this time. Fish were charting all over the place, but nothing was biting worth a damn.

Last year we had water levels at flood stage. Fishing has been much better overall this year for me.
