Thread: Just got back from monroe

Went to monroe thursday evening fished south end of lake water real clear temp was 65. Went to fish for wipers and walleyes. Caught lots of bass and when walleyes started movin up on the flats the storms ran me off the lake. Went back to camper and decided to fish this morning. Launched at cutrite and was in to crappies in about 20 min. Caught about 23 fish 10-17 inches and one walleye about 24 inches. Hooked 5 wipers only landed 2 about 20 inches. Then came the rain again. Good day going back tomorrow and sunday.Can some one tell me how to post pics.:D

Jaypay, thanks for the report. Sounds like you may be torn between what specie to fish for with all the action right now. Tough problem to have Wind and bass tournament is going to play havoc today, me thinks.

How did you do Saturday and Sunday? I fished Saddle Creek area, not much luck. I believe the spawn is just about over on that end of the lake. What do you think?
