Thread: Waveland

Went to waveland today and tore them up!!!!!! 46 Slabs! 4 big gills! all were caught fairly shallow, must were dark males! 8 pounds of filets when we were done.

Good deal, where is Waveland located?

Nice mess of fish. What was the water temp? Minnows or jigs? How clear is the water?

dont know water temp,we caught them on minnows under bobbers, 4-5 fow, 2 feet down. water was really clear, rained alot, bite slowed when rained.

I have a question about waveland, I've never been there. Is there a motor size limit on it. How big of a lake is it. If i'm not mistaken it is over by crawfordsville? I'm off on vacation all next week and my try to go over and fish it a day or two.

No motor limit or speed limit. 300 acres

Thanks! I will probably give it a try this next week. Going down to monroe early in the morning to fish a bass tournament on Saturday and am going to stay the night and crappie fish on Sunday.

Thinking about going to Waveland, but never been there before. Any help on where I might start? Long drive for me, and a short time to fish. Thanks for any help!
