I wear the type that stretch over your boot. They work pretty well for me
How many actually use them? I have never used one, but went out today and each step I took felt like an adventure since the warm temps this week, even though the ice seemed OK.
I think I'll get one.

I always use a spud, everyone should, safe ice can change to not safe pretty quick.I made mine, but one can be purchased for under $30.00, small price to pay for safety.
Where or what type of lake were you on today? For having safe Ice and what part of the state? I feel the need to ice fish!

Silly me, I thought you were talking about cleats/studs on boots
Typical natural lake in Noble County. Didn't really catch anything worth mentioning. I just bought my first flasher (Vexilar) a couple weeks ago, so still just playing with that. Really brings another dimension to ice fishing.
