I went for the 2 sizes bigger because i wanted the most stability in big water like barkley or kentucky lake. Love the new boat also, been very pleased with the quality. As Filletfish mentioned there are days wind the wind blows and it pushes d v hulls all over the lake and mine is no exception. Personally if your serious about looking i would visit dealers for all the boats you mentioned and see which fits you the best. I include some photos of my lund for you to consider. I use mine for spider rigging, trolling crainkbaits, vertical jigging, and duck hunting.

Mike58, that is a sweet fishing machine you have! A few years ago, I started fishing with my buddy who had a 2009 Alaskan 1800 tiller, equipped to the max, and that's what prompted me to get a tiller, with the hope of getting a Lund someday. He has taken his Alaskan on Lake Erie many times in less-than-perfect conditions and he said he felt safe every time. As for myself, I'm very picky about the days I go to Erie, but I'm beginning to shop for a newer boat, probably this time with a SC, but Lund is the top of my list. I really like the colors that are offered in the Alaskan too. It's frigid this week in NE Ohio, and still a few months away from open water again. Ugh. Can't wait for tight lines again! Thanks for sharing photos of your boat!

I have a Lund 1850 impact and love it. After 2 years of use, I can't find much to complain about. Set up with 115 4 stroke Mercury, I pilot link and Humminbird electronics. On the water, it is effected by the wind more than the bass boat I had. The I-pilot remote charge won't last all day. It does everything else from family day on the water to musky fishing late November. Top speed 44mph and pulls my 200lb butt up on a slalom ski. Very fuel efficient! Hope that helps.
