Thread: Limited on Tuesday.. 12 today

The first day I got out was Tuesday... I went straight to the trees and brush I'd sunk 2 years ago. Believe it guys, Build it and they will come. It was just like I'd called for reservations and ordered 25 nice crappies. I actually caught about 33, but the limit is 25. Pretty nice to "have to" fillet a nice mess the first time out. I fished in 12 FOW and caught most of them at 6' - 7'. Multiple jigs were used. I changed colors and it made NO difference. They Just love living in the condo I built for them!

Went again today and got selective. I only kept 12. but they were very nice size. Most were 11-12 but 2 were 13+... Yeah, I'm going again Friday. Gotta get to bet so I can rest my arm. Ha Ha

Way to go crappie pop !! Sounds like the hard work paid off... and a great first of the season fishing trip to get things going in the right direction. Just how important is structure in crappie fishing..... well pretty important as you have proved. Thanks for sharing your report with us.
