Glendale?
I have never been to Glendale FWA but have always wanted to go. Was talking to a guy on a job today, and fishing came up. He told me about how great Glendale is for panfish, but they had a 10hp limit. If I have a 15hp can I not fish the lake? And I thought I read somewhere that you needed a permit to fish the area. Can anybody help me out?
Thanks

I've been going to Glendale since the late 80's and it's a great lake for crappie, bluegill and redear. There is a 10 hp limit on the lake and you don't have to buy permits as far as I know.
We go down every October and fish for redear/bluegill, this past fall we caught lots of fish but the sizes weren't quite what they normally are. I've caught 12 inch redear out of there and good size hybrids and bluegill.

I just asked one of my buddys about this. He fishes a lot of bass tournaments
in his bass club and this is one of the places he tells me I need to be (since I prefer the panfish). You can launch any size boat motor you want, but it has to be 9.9 or lower for you to put it in the water.
It's not much of a place for anything other than a trolling motor, anyway. You think there's a good amount of stickups at Hardy, this place will over-welm you! Their club has caught numerous SLABS while bass fishing. He said it's hell to use any type of worm rig, because the gills and ears beat the tar out of them. It's a decent haul over there, but worth it.

Put some 10 hp stickers on it ...you will be fine....I've seen some 75 hp with 10 hp stickers there........you won't be running fast anyway...Lots of stickups and awesome fishing...
You should see the size of the CO's 10 hp. ....:D

Thanks guys, I need to start planning a trip. I've been meaning to make it up for years, buts always hard for me to fish unknown water, when I know where I can catch them.

Never be afraid to fish new water, in the long run it will make you a better angler. Just do some online work and any satellite views and paper maps if available. Apply to the time of the year (water temps), and trust your electronics. Each trip will become easier for you.
Just do the home work first, then have fun.
