    Default Morse Resevoir

Alot of ice still on Morse Res. Some available fishing on the docks at Red Bridge in Cicero. Took my twin 4 year old boys out on the docks today, couple of small bluegill. Didnt have my pole, and im glad it would have been too much by myself! LOL Did see and older gentleman catching a couple of 10 to 12 inch crappies on blue and white sparkle tubes under a float. Fishing in 8 ft. of water. Cant wait to get the kids out on some of the big Monroe Res. Crappie

Looks like you are set with fishing partners for the next 15 yrs and beyond ! I have a friend with twin boys...and went to his house one time. These little guys had minature poles and were casting practice plugs across the room. I swear, they were still in diapers. Get em started young. At least for awhile, you'll be the center of their universe dad.

For those that are interested in what the Morse Lake conditions are, here is a link with a few web-cams of Morse and some of Indy (including Giest and Eagle Creek).

Did you guys see that angler catch the 14" slab this morning dock shooting the dock on the right. It looked like he was using a Bobby Garland baby shad blue thunder on 1/32 jig.

LOL...I'm just pulling your leg but wouldn't it be nice.

If it were true, it would probably be High Tide out there with his new side image sonar looking under the skirts of owners docks :D

LOL... And you guys thought it was for fishing :D. The ice is melting fast, so hopefully it will be gone by Sunday, so I can start "testing", or as I told my daughter "treasure hunting". That manual is kicking my arse... but at the same time firing me up. I also talked the Misses into new gauges for the boat, because water pressure and fuel were shot, so I figured while I was in electrical mode, to do it all at once. I'm probably over my head, but what the heck. I'm also excited about the Hi-Tek sprider rigs, ordered two, three rod holder sets. Now all I need is some sprider rigging poles, but they are just so long, I don't know how I'm going to hide them from my wife . Did I forget to mention that she already doesn't have to buy me another birthday, christmas present until 2012.

LOL... HT... sounds like me... I am good on bday, xmas , for next 5 yrs...as of this past couple weeks. UPS and Fed Ex trucks have been pulverizing my gravel driveway . I am on technology overload now.... and sad to say, but the guy with the cane pole on the bank is prob going to out fish me. My boat is 34 yrs old, and hadn't spent much money on it since 1993 other than batteries and reg maintenance. Just replaced my trailer tires....they were 17 yrs old !!! I am due for some upgrades.

If your boat is anything like the "don't laugh sled", it will be more than enough. I still haven't found out where to install the "magic" yet?? What are you doing to the boat, if you don't mind me asking?

agm batts, on board 3 bank charger, TM, 2 DFs, new trailer tires and rims.

want to also replace 34 yr old carpet and also paint the trailer. If I get this all done and can keep big motor running...should last another 17 yrs no problem :D
