Go read the Florida forum. They have a pretty hot "Lake Monroe" down there. Wish they had a "Cataract or Raccoon" on that "Lake County - Louisa" thread. Those guys are catching some monsters right now and doing it mostly in shirt sleeves. (They were complaining because they were freezing in 45 degree temps with 15 mph winds.) Ya, we have probably at least a month yet before we can slide the boats in around here.

Just got back from Florida and the lakes in the Bartow area, fishing the past 10 days was good and a coupld of great days thrown in. 13 inch fish were very common and very nice. They had just come in the grass when we came home.

Shirt sleeves and shorts were the norm.

Well, I loaded up the ice fishing gear again yesterday and found some fishable ice in south central Indiana. Didn't slay em ....but at least got out and let the stink blow off. Still working on the jig supply tho.
