Thread: Geist water conditions

Can anyone tell me if Geist is muddy? I'm thinking of going there Sunday but it's an 1-1/2 drive and would hate to get there and it be muddy.

No, it's quite clear. I live 10 minutes away and fished it thurs.

Dad and I went today and the water was clear and 47 degrees @ 8:00 am. I was casting jigs and dad was using minows. Jigs out produced minows probably 4 to 1. We caught around 100 but 85 of them were less than 8". The biggest was 12" on minow 12' down in 16 FOW. Beautiful day to be on the water.
