    Default lure kits

Bass Pro Shops 455-Piece Crappie Kit

This kit received very good reviews, but is there anyone here who has bought these types of kits and was able to use the majority of the baits with some degree of success??????????

    Default Southern Pro

I like the Southern Pro kit. There is nothing wrong with the kit you are looking at, but my preference would be more chartuse color in the tubes.

I own a Southern Pro lil' hustler 1,021 piece kit purchased from Cabella's and have had good luck with it.

    Thumbs up

Your from Wabash , take a trip to Bozarth Country Store In Lagro. They have a great selection of both Bass Pro and Southern Pro tubes and curly tails that you can see before you buy. I prefere the Southern Pro myself.

Since I am on the Southern Pro - Pro Staff, I highly recommend any of the products Southern Pro offers. If you are looking for a 100% American owned/100% American made product, this is one of the few that is left.

Southern Pro used to make all of Bass Pro Shop's crappie plastics, but they don't any longer, I am not sure that they are even made in America any longer. Southern Pro lures are definitely the way to go, my success rate since I have switched to Southern Pro (which I use 99.9% of the time) has increased tremendously!

If you want to see all the baits they have to offer, try going to Southern Pro Tackle :: Crappie Specialists

    Good Luck!

Thank you Jim I just added that site to my favorites. Glad I asked b/4 I ordered. One more ? if I could, do the jig heads come in only one size hook and which type head do you prefer? I guess that was two questions.

The Jigheads they have are alright, but I am also a pro staffer for Teezur Jigheads, and here is the link for that:

I think the best size is the 3/32nd oz. Hot Head....

    Good Luck!
