I thought about going to Cataract but Geist is closer and I wanted to shoot the docks since the sun was bright. Driving to my favorite docks I found this brushpile full of fish. Stopped dropped a marker and started catching fish with a 11ft jiggin pole with a 1/8oz tube jig. Worked area 2 hrs with about 80 fish caught. With the sun being out bright I went to shoot some docks. They were eating a jig up in the shadows of the docks. I caught alot of 9-10" fish with only a few keepers. I don't mess with fish under 10". Fished 7 hrs for crappie and bass, ended up catching over 200 with only 1 over 12". Great day to be on the water (even with skiers)!

Sounds like a great day Skeeter!
Thanks for sharing your photos and information. Sounds like you had a blast "shooting" docks!
I've only been on Geist one time, when I bought my boat in 2002 from the marina there. I may have to give it a try sometime.

Nice pics. Sounds like a pretty good day. Also sounds like the big fish haven't moved in yet. Hoping to still get out there one day this year before things freeze up.
