TDH.
What was the wieghts?
Take a kid fishing
Three teams were over ten pounds for seven fish. The big fish was 2.3 or 2.4lbs can't really remember for sure all I know is they were all nice fish. Real impressive for 20+ mph winds and a 20deg drop in temp from Friday.
Great job! Those are 2 guys who deserve to win.

congrats to these guys. Not your best fishing weather out there yesterday. That is impressive poundage. I would be interested in hearing about the techniques and depth, etc RE discussion on shallow water crappies. I've watched a few videos on solomon and walters and those guys are fishing machines.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes! we did have a nice 7 fish stringer, 10.24 lbs
Solomon and Walters is a very good team, and we feel honored to win against them.
Thank you THD, and it was very nice to meet you yesterday too! What a tough day on the lake. Winds blowing up to 30mph, a strong cold front blowing through, the lake rose almost a foot overnight, downright a chilly day!
We caught most of our best fish using 1/8oz. teezur jigheads and large Southern Pro tubes. we did catch a few of our fish tipping with crappie shiners, but our best fish came without any live bait. all of the fish were caught in less than 8' of water. persistence was the key. all the fish were caught vertical jigging.
By the way...
BnM has a new pole out this year called the Buck's Gold series pole. It is available in a 10'er and 12'er. They have new guides and real seat design on this rod. They have the stainless guide inserts that is lighter than the ceramic. I was using one of the 12'ers yesterday, it is an IM8 rod, very sensitive and very light, a little stiffer than a Sam's Super Sensitive.
Thanks again for all who posted, and good luck the rest of the fall!
