Those are a nice mess of chunky specks. Nice to be able to have those memories of fishing with your dad. Try to get out and find some of those fall Crappies.

Nice Catch, you Can Tell He Is You Dad You Should Be Proud .i Wish My Dad Was Still Here To Take Fishing
The fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad
By the way... YES it was at Weiss Lake. It was my first time on that lake. I hired a guide for the first day. Very dissapointed with the outcome that day. I told my dad " let's go do something different tomorrow". So instead of trolling the main lake I decided to go as shallow as we could go in the back of the creeks. We found warmer water and bigger fish. We caught alot of good fish in 3ft or less with jigs. I even took time out to take video of my dad catching 1.5-2lb crappie. Can't wait to go back this spring with my fishing partner.:D

That lake is amazing if you know where to fish on it. And if you don't know it's still good fishing.
What makes the trip down there so great is the people they are the most helpfull people I've ever been around and I've fished all over the place.
Them are some real beauties you guy's caught you should be proud of the fact you figured it out on your own because the lake is HUGE!!!
